Table to Excel — One-Click Export

Last updated: July 1, 2026

Table to Excel ("the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Extension handles data.

1. Data We Do NOT Collect

The Extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, browsing history, or page content to any server. All table detection and Excel file generation occur entirely within your browser using local processing.

2. Data Stored Locally

The Extension uses chrome.storage.local to store the following data on your device only:

This data never leaves your browser and is not accessible to any website or third party.

3. Permissions Explanation

activeTab

Accesses the current tab only when you click the extension icon, to detect tables on the page.

scripting

Injects a content script to parse table data from the page DOM.

downloads

Saves the generated Excel file to your download folder.

storage

Stores license status and trial count locally.

Host permissions (<all_urls>)

Needed because tables can appear on any website. Access occurs only upon user action — the extension does not run in the background.

4. Third-Party Services

The Extension communicates with api.gumroad.com solely to verify license keys when you manually enter one for Pro activation. No browsing data or page content is sent to Gumroad — only the license key and product ID are transmitted over HTTPS.

5. Data Security

All processing is local. No data is transmitted over the internet except the license verification request to Gumroad's API, which uses HTTPS encryption.

6. Children's Privacy

The Extension does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
